About the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution
The Lancer Evolution was Mitsubishi's rally homologation special, running from the Evo I in 1992 to the Evo X, which ended in 2016. The 4G63 turbo four and clever all-wheel drive won four straight World Rally driver titles with Tommi Mäkinen.
Early Evos never came to the US, so Japanese-market Evo I through VI cars are favorite 25-year-rule imports.
