About the Toyota AE86
The AE86 (1983–1987) was the last rear-wheel-drive Corolla. The Sprinter Trueno had pop-up headlights and the Corolla Levin had fixed ones, and both used the high-revving 4A-GE twin-cam.
Light, balanced and cheap, the “Hachiroku” became a drift and touge legend. Every AE86 is well past the 25-year import line.
